Location Shots
Choosing a location is a key, in enabling you to construct the basics of your media project. I had established this though the experience I had gained, in completing the preliminary task; (which was set in the beginning of my course). There was a lot to consider when choosing the location, such as whether it was suitable for my target audience and genre, plus getting permission to film, and whether there are any issues such as noise. The fact that I had gained knowledge from the preliminary task allowed me to think in a more professional especially when I began to write out the pre-production paperwork such as the location recce sheet. the location I wanted was one that depicted the musical genre I aiming for, so I chose a studio in the college as it was easily accessible, sound proof, and I was granted permission to film.
