LOCATION RECEE SHEET

FOR PRELIMINARY TASK

Activity at each Location.	Lighting Required? Position of sun? Clearance for shooting agreed with owners? Is there power available? Has access been agreed? Do the police/local council need to be informed?	Audio problems, such as traffic noise or planes frequently flying over?	Action taken to overcome each problem.
·        Our Starting location for our filming assignment was the corridor in the media department. ·        The activity was fairly subdued at our location was at the very end of the corridor, there were not many student the noise was reasonably quit. Our next location was the editing room E107 this room was quite, however could be issues from student, but when filming there were no incidents where other got in the way. Overall the location was a good space to film.	The lighting in the corridor was dark; however it could be improved by adding extra lights and fixing the overhead light. There was ambient lighting in the room which was a nice dynamic. The access to film has been cleared as it is in the college, and we wear special identification so people know we’re from the college. There was no sun light so the overhead lights were putt on.	·         The problems that we would face are the facts students could walk in the corridor. ·         Also there is noise from the air conditioner. ·         Also there is a class opposite the window where we were filming.	·         Moved to the end corridor to overcome student problem, and film when students are in lesson. ·         Air-con noise improved by turning off the conditioner. ·         To improve the fact you could see student in other room we closed the blind.
